About the Architect

All house plans are designed by registered Architect Darron Schmitt.

Darron earned a bachelor’s degree in 1983 from the School of Architecture at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. He received his Architectural Registration and Professional license in 1989.

Before opening his own firm, Darron gained experience with several other architectural firms in College Station and Dallas,Texas working on a wide variety of commercial and residential projects.
In 1986, he was named an associate for National residential and multifamily design firm based in Dallas, Texas.

Darron’s Architectural resume over the past 25 years includes work on office buildings, day care facilities, schools, churches, banks, apartment complexes, and other multi and single family residential projects.

Darron has owned and operated RDGS Architects since 1989; he specializes in residential and small commercial projects.
